OHDF Converters
Converters for Normalizing Data
MITRE SAF©'s Normalization capability allows users to convert a wide variety of security scanning tool formats to and from the OASIS Heimdall Data Format (OHDF). This capability is useful for aggregating data together from multiple sources, and for generating reports on that data in whatever format is required by the organization (e.g. a STIG checklist or even a simple CSV file).
Both Heimdall© and the SAF CLI use the OHDF converter library to handle data formatting. Any file uploaded to Heimdall is automatically matched against a converter if it is a recognized format. The SAF CLI, using the convert command, can also handle converting to and from OHDF. The underlying library is available for integration with third-party apps.
